Ruth's Physio-Led Pilates Classes

 

Angus Physiotherapy are now offering morning and afternoon Pilates classes at the Forfar Community Campus. Pilates is a low impact form of exercise designed to strengthen the deep abdominals and gluteal muscles, which help to support the lower back and hips. By strengthening the core, you provide your body with a strong stable base from which to move. This makes Pilates an ideal form of rehabilitation for back and joint pain as well as a great all round strengthening activity.

At Angus Physiotherapy, our instructor’s expert knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and training with the APPI allow us to modify exercises to suit each individual client within a class, which ensures that everyone is working at a level appropriate to them.Our Pilates instructors will ensure that you are challenged but will also ensure precision and control of the exercises so that you gain maximum benefit from them.

No previous Pilates experience is necessary as all participants will complete a 1:1 induction prior to entry into the class to familiarise you with the 5 basic principles of Pilates.
